Peaceful farmer Benjamin Martin is driven to lead the Colonial Militia during the American Revolution when a sadistic British officer murders his son. The story is inspired by the lives of the revolutionaries Andrew Pickens, Thomas Sumter and Francis Marion known as “The Swamp Fox”, for Captain Benjamin Martin (Mel Gibson) in the film, and the British Legion Commander Banastre Tarleton, who is Colonel William Tavington (Jason Isaacs) in the film. The film reconstituted, with historical liberties, certain episodes of the American Revolutionary War, including scenes of the victory of the American revolutionaries during the battle of Cowpens, which took place on January 17, 1781.

Dicaprio is a king, for sur. I like this movie because landscapes and action scenery are incredible. But this movie is too long, I was bored in the theater…

I passed a great time in front of my computer. The story is funny and Tom Hanks plays very well. I hope it won’t happen me one day, I don’t think so because I have a french ID hihi! I don’t know if it’s a true story but I want to believe it. It’s a long treck dotted difficulties and dangers. Landscapes are incredible. I don’t want to spoil the movie but if you like hiking, just watch it. In 2003, the adventurer Sylvain Tesson reproduced the Rawicz expedition, which he relates in his book L’Axe du loup. I advise you to read it. Colin Farrell plays very well the Russian!


Far’Hook is a twenty-year-old rapper. Following a settling of scores, he’s obliged to leave Paris and lay low for awhile. His producer, Bilal, suggests that Far’Hook take his place accompanying his father Serge on a tour of all of the ports of France, following the path taken by the painter Joseph Vernet. Despite the shock between generations and different cultures an improbable friendship develops between the promising rapper and this builder from the North of France, during an adventure that will lead them to Marseille for a final concert, one of reconciliation.

I love this film. It remembers my grandfather who is so racist! it’s never too late to change… Love.

It is an adaptation of the memories of Robyn Davidson, an Australian who, in 1977, at the age of 27, traveled 2,700 kilometers (1,700 miles) across the Australian desert from the city of Alice Springs to the Indian Ocean.


Loyalties are tested when five friends and former special forces operatives reunite to take down a South American drug lord, unleashing a chain of unintended consequences. 

The casting is impressive! Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam, Garrett Hedlund and Pedro Pascal. I watched it 2 months after my come back in France, discover again the mountains of Andean cordiere is a pur pleasure! Action, big actors, landscapes, suspense… a nice netflix recipe. It’s not the movie of the year but I had a good time. Enjoy.

The film met Reese Witherspoon in the role of Cheryl Strayed, alongside Laura Dern, Thomas Sadoski and Gaby Hoffmann, who play notable roles, who narrates the story of Strayed, who begins a solo hike of 1,700 km on the Pacific Crest Trail to recover from a personal tragedy.

Sometimes, to cure and reach the peace, fleeing to rebuild himself is the solution. TRECKING and TRAVELING can be the key. Be alone to listen to yourself. I like this movie. I passed a great moment.
